MV/LV concrete distribution and transformer substations are produced as concrete-enclosed, monoblock, compact units for system voltages up to 36 kV. The design follows TS EN 62271-202 (IEC 62271-202) and the relevant TEDAŞ MYD specification. All type tests required by the standard have been completed at accredited laboratories in Türkiye and abroad.
The substation is divided into three compartments: the HV switching units, the MV distribution transformer, and the LV distribution board. Each compartment has its own independent access door and ventilation louvres, and door and louvre configurations can be varied to suit the application.
Internal arc withstand and the protection class proven by type testing safeguard personnel. Assembly and testing are completed in the factory. The steel reinforcement of the concrete enclosure, the doors, the earthing terminals of the electrical equipment and all other metal parts requiring earthing are bonded to a copper equipotential busbar using conductors specified by the standards.
Advantages include fast, straightforward installation, an appearance that fits its surroundings, a choice of colours, resistance to climatic conditions, long service life, and — thanks to the monoblock construction — the ability to be relocated. Minimal site area and civil work make installation and commissioning quick.
The range covers 1000 kVA and 1600 kVA air insulated compact transformer substations, air insulated distribution substations, 1000 and 1600 kVA compact substations without an LV board, and RMU-equipped compact substations with LV board and distribution transformer.
Typical applications: transformer substations, distribution substations, industrial substations, wind farms (WPP), solar plants (SPP), power factor correction installations, water pumping stations and generator enclosures.
